Crafted from beautifully figured camphor wood, the chest is fitted with recessed brass military-style handles and a practical arrangement of drawers.

The upper section is configured with four short drawers surrounding a central secretaire drawer. Opening to reveal a fitted interior with pigeonholes, small drawers and a writing surface, it provides an excellent workspace for correspondence and organisation while remaining discreetly concealed when closed.
