A fine mahogany collector’s or apothecary cabinet on stand, presented in excellent antique condition. Crafted from beautifully figured mahogany, the upper section is enclosed by a pair of panelled doors opening to reveal an impressive Anglo Padouk-lined interior, fitted with an extensive arrangement of drawers and compartments ideal for collections, jewellery, sewing accessories, specimens or apothecary wares.

Beneath are two long drawers with attractive brass swan-neck handles, providing additional storage. The cabinet stands on an elegant mahogany base with square tapering legs and a shaped apron, lending the piece a refined yet practical character.

Richly coloured throughout and displaying a wonderful patina, this unusual and highly decorative cabinet combines outstanding visual appeal with exceptional functionality.
