Description

Stunning Chinese folding desk elaborately carved with dragons and stylised longevity characters and faux bamboo carved edges. The desk consists of a top with a central section surrounded by a profusely carved border of Chinese symbols, dragons and flowers. This leads down to a frieze, again profusely carved with similar designs to the top and this decoration is also carried round to the sides and back. The frieze at the front incorporates two drawers with carved wooded handles. The base section is also profusely carved and pierced with dragons and flowers and can be folded for easy storage and transport.
An unusual useful oriental style table in good solid strong well made condition, very decorative with a nice colour to the hardwood.
