Beneath the horse sits a cherub face flanked by turned finials and classical masks, all carved with remarkable precision. The circular 14cm dial features Arabic numerals and ornate hands within a gilt bezel, framed by leaf and column motifs typical of the period’s craftsmanship.

The lower section has a glazed door revealing an elaborate brass pendulum with a central medallion and scrolling foliage. The case is flanked by turned columns and geometric carvings.
