A beautifully designed Art Nouveau mahogany display cabinet in excellent antique condition, complete with working key. The upper section is defined by its curved decorative supports and delicate Art Nouveau motifs, inlaid in contrasting satinwoods and accented with brass. One of the small panels shows an old, stable crack that has been historically repaired.

Below, two mirrored panels and a central drawer lead to a second glazed cabinet with gracefully shaped doors. Both the upper and lower glazed sections are fitted with mirror backs, enhancing light and depth and allowing glassware, ceramics, and silver to appear richer as their forms and colours are reflected.

The combination of inlay, glazing, and sculptural supports creates a highly decorative and beautifully crafted piece. The mahogany has developed a deep, mellow patina full of character and period charm. As with all antique furniture, there are age‑related imperfections — including the historic repair to one panel and foxing to the mirrors — but these details only add to its authenticity and sense of history.
