The rectangular top has a small raised gallery back, above two drawers in the frieze retaining their original bun handles. The table stands on well‑turned legs with carved detail. The mahogany has a warm, even colour with attractive grain, and is in excellent condition with only the light marks and scuffs expected of age. A versatile piece that looks impressive against any wall, and truly striking when placed beneath a mirror, painting or window. An attractive and practical addition to a hallway or living space.
