A magnificent burr walnut fold- over games table from the fantastic Victorian era. The beautiful shaped top is covered in outstanding burr walnut veneers and rotates to reveal a hidden storage recess with room inside to store the cards, games, etc. When opened the width of the top extends to 94cm and features a round green baize games surface. Raised on four superbly carved shapely legs with carved central column ending on original white castors. Like all antiques there are imperfections, gaming surface is worn in places however this is a solid table with a gorgeous warm colour and amazing patina. When closed it makes a stunning console table however it is always ready for games night. This is a beautiful, elegant piece of antique furniture showcasing high Victorian craftsmanship. It is both attractive and practical, making it a perfect addition to any home.
