A beautiful Victorian burr walnut fold‑over games table, richly figured and full of character. The demi‑lune top showcases striking burr walnut veneers with delicate inlaid decoration, opening to reveal a striking blue baize‑lined playing surface in excellent condition. The fold‑over action is smooth and well made, with the original hinges still present.

The base is particularly attractive, standing on four finely turned legs united by an ornate carved stretcher with scrolling detail and a central finial. The legs finish on small brass castors, allowing the table to be moved with ease. The walnut has developed a warm, glowing patina, highlighting the quality of the timber and craftsmanship.
