Superb Chinese hardwood plant stand with a circular marble top inset in excellent antique condition. The marble shows attractive natural veining in soft pink and cream tones, framed by a beaded wooden border. The apron is richly worked with scrolling foliage and pierced floral motifs. The four cabriole legs are similarly carved, sweeping down to claw‑like feet and united by a carved X stretcher added stability and decoration. In excellent condition with only light, age-appropriate wear, it remains sturdy. A beautifully made piece, ideal for displaying a favourite plant, vase or sculpture.
