The beautifully aged three-plank top shows evidence of historic repairs and wear, which only enrich its character and narrative. Panelled on all sides, the front features shaped fielded panels set above three short drawers, combining visual interest with practical storage. Inside, the chest remains spacious and retains its original candle box. As expected of a piece of this age, there are historic knocks, marks, and surface wear throughout, all of which contribute to its warm, timeworn appeal.
