The safe has a classic black-painted exterior, enhanced by brass fittings, including a distinctive brass handle modelled as a hand gripping a baton and a matching brass keyhole plate. A prominent oval brass maker’s plaque to the front clearly states the Withers trade mark, underscoring its authenticity and historical significance. Inside, the safe remains tidy and fully functional, with surfaces showing only the gentle, honest wear expected from more than a century of use.
