The walnut has a warm, mellow glow, lifted by finely painted floral motifs that add a touch of romantic Edwardian whimsy. Painted florals to the lower panel complete the composition. The original bevelled mirror plate is wonderfully clear, free from foxing. A refined and decorative piece showcasing the artistry and mixed‑media craftsmanship of the period.
