An impressive Art Nouveau glazed pottery jardinière and matching pedestal stand, presented in wonderful antique condition. The jardinière features a beautifully shaped scalloped rim above richly modelled foliate and scrolling relief decoration, typical of the Art Nouveau movement. Finished in harmonious shades of moss green, olive and cream, the glossy glaze enhances the depth and detail of the moulded design.

The elegant pedestal is equally well executed, decorated with elongated leaf motifs and flowing botanical ornament, perfectly complementing the jardinière above. Combining artistic craftsmanship with practical function, this striking ensemble makes a superb display piece, whether used to showcase a favourite plant or admired as a decorative work of ceramic art in its own right.

A highly decorative and distinctive statement piece, ideal for a conservatory, garden room, hallway or period interior, where its sculptural form and exceptional Art Nouveau character can be fully appreciated.
