A charming 19th‑century wooden bucket with its original brass‑lined interior in excellent antique condition. The body is formed from vertical staves in alternating tones, giving it a striking banded appearance, and is secured with brass ring that add both strength and decorative contrast to the bucket. The interior retains its removable brass liner, now gently aged with a pleasing patina, and the bucket is fitted with a shaped metal swing handle for easy carrying. Standing on small brass lion paws it is well proportions, elegant bucket. The wood has developed a warm, mellow surface from years of careful use.
