Japanese Mizuya (Kitchen Tansu) - SAI4108
A superb Japanese cedar mizuya chest in excellent antique condition, separating into two sections for easy movement. The top section has two sliding cupboards, one retaining its original hand‑brushed inscription “Yamamoto,” giving the piece strong authenticity. Below are multiple drawers with original iron loop handles and a rich, aged patina. The dark ironwork pairs beautifully with the warm, well‑figured cedar grain. A decorative and practical tansu, perfect for kitchens, hallways, or modern interiors needing a striking statement piece.
