A fine Georgian mahogany secretaire of elegant proportions, offered in excellent antique condition and complete with a working key. The piece separates into two sections for ease of movement. The upper cabinet is crowned with a moulded cornice and fitted with beautifully inlaid oval‑panel doors, opening to an adjustable shelved interior. The base includes a fall‑front writing drawer with green baize and fitted interior, above two full‑width drawers with original brass handles. The mahogany has a warm, even patina, and while minor age‑related marks are present, it remains a solid, well‑cared‑for and highly practical Georgian piece.
