A magnificent 18th-century Dutch bombe bureau bookcase, adorned with striking satinwood veneers and rich cross-banding. For ease of transport, this impressive piece is designed to separate into two sections, combining convenience with grandeur.
The upper doors, finely panelled and embellished with intricate inlay, open to reveal a shelved interior complete with a central cupboard and four petite drawers fitted with brass inset handles. Below, the cross-banded fall front drops to unveil a beautifully organized writing interior, featuring fitted pigeonholes, shelves, and drawers — thoughtfully arranged to accommodate all office essentials.
