An outstanding oak bench set presented in excellent antique condition. The impressive refectory table features a three-plank top with classic breadboard ends, supported by chunky turned legs and an H-stretchered base—offering both visual weight and stability. The matching benches, each crafted from a single oak plank, are joined with traditional wooden dowels and complete the ensemble perfectly. Naturally, there are some age-related imperfections typical of antique furniture, but none that detract from the set’s robust charm, rich graining, or beautifully developed patina. A rustic and characterful dining set that would make a superb centrepiece in any kitchen or country interior.
